My Right Index Finger

The pictures in this post are pretty medically graphic.

So, from nowhere, I developed a small infection on my right index finger. I didn’t cut, smash, or otherwise injure it. The only thing I can think of is an infected ingrown hair. To complicate matters, sometime between my first major surgery and my second, I became positive for MRSA.

Here is a picture in its earliest stage.

Finally went in to see a professional. All the peroxide and anti-bacterial ointment, and Epsom salt soaks were doing nothing.

From here we see how the doctor used a chainsaw to “help” it out.
